even tho this is just a demo,
i re-mixed everything,
took out a bunch of the harmonies,
added a bass part, tambourine and bongos, just to get a feel for what a 'rhythm section' might do with it...

i may just have to do two versions of this thing,
a slower acoustic version,
and a heavy even slower hard rock version..... kinda like a 'kashmir' groove

I am at a hotel in Denver, Rob and I hit the download button and it took forever and got to 27%.  The wireless here is not the greatest.

...or, use the acoustic version as the intro, then hit hard with a heavy groove on the word 'down'?

I recently bought a RME babyface pro,
and this little demo is PARTIALLY an experiment in learning the interface, and how good the quality of the capture is.
the demo you are hearing, is a lightly mastered file, that's been dithered down to 16bit/44.1khz...so.....
i experimented with bit rate 32bit and sampling at 96k.
wow.
with the great improvement in convertors over what i had, i can really hear the diff, after using a Maudio Audiophile 192 pcie card for about 8 years.

once i dither everything down to 44.1khz/16 bit, will i still hear the diff?
well, yes, because the depth and quality of the capture still translates down.
 
the big caveat here,
is that you have to have decent playback system, and decent convertors, to really hear the sound diff,
but if you DO have those things, it's obvious.

Thanks, buddy.  Typically exceptional Batsbrew stuff.  I have to go with that other Pugtone, Mark,  excellent vocals.  I heard some gymnastics there I don't think I have heard you do before.

i'm still just learning how to set the gain structures, etc,....
 
i don't know about any gymnastics, tho, i don't think my back would like that.
 

Very nice Bats - love the groove. I agree that this tempo with a hard guitar coming in loooouuuuud would be the shizzle.
