new to MC4 Questions

Hi,

I'm a long term Sonar user. I'm looking at MC4 for use in my local school where I work as music tech.

Two quick Qs:

Is there a demo download? I can't find one.

Does MC4 have a midi event list editor?

Thanks everybody.

Yours,
Harry

Harry, it being their lowest price sequencer, I don't think they have a trial version. I just looked through the MC4 pages, and didn't see a link for a trial. There are several videos you can access, which I'm sure you know about.
I'm on my third different Cakewalk program, two of them being Mucic Creator programs, and they've all had the event list view. It's such a handy tool I can't imagine CW wouldn't include it. Someone with 4 will be along soon to let you know for sure.
If you do get it, you'll be familiar with it immediately, being a Sonar user. But it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Sonar programs. It's a good entry-level sequencing program, and I think it's a steal for $35.
Be advised there have recently been some problems registering/activating MC4, particularly with the download version, and some download glitches, too.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

Greg's right, they don't have a trial of MC4, they only have a trial of Sonar 7 available, which is similar, but of course a lot of the features of that full program are disabled in MC.

I don't have MC4 either, but it does have the EVEN list in it.
