new user - soft synths

Dear all, Starting recently with recording using Sonar LE, I experience that after inserting 4 soft synth tracks, upon inserting a new soft synth track, the soft synths turn grey. Apparently I can not insert an additional soft synth. Is this a known thing? I have looked everywhere but I can not find a solution. I hope someone can help me. Thanks, Volcmar

Many of Cakewalk's starter programs have limits on the number of simultaneous synths and effects you can use.
It may be 4 in SONAR LE.
You can bounce the synth tracks to audio then re-use the synth or delete it and add another.
    And welcome to the forum.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

Thank you for your quick reply. I did what you suggested but it doesn't appear to work. It seems if the project does not recognize the plug-ins. Also, the FX turned into grey. Other projects I'm working on seem not to have this. A setting? A check box accidentally ticked (it sometimes gets late...)? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you, Volcmar
