no windows 8 driver for the m-audio oxygen 49

so im sure as you know m audio is always on top of new OS drivers (..ehh..hemmm....yes right..)
anyway,whats the chances of this thing working as a plug and play,or using the windows 7 driver?
 
anyone?

    The win7 driver works fine in Win8. (Have the oxy61 which is the same except for number of keys)
