noise tracks when using samples

noise tracks when using samples

On some tracks when using sampled loops I get a crakling sound like static on the track. Does not happen all the time. Everything works fine. anyone have any ideas?

    anyone have any ideas?

    Tough one, especially not having heard the sample.
    Distortion would be my first guess. Recorded real hot, and is overdriving the sound source.
    It could be that it's in the sample itself.
    ?
    Just guesses obviously, can you post an example?
