not offering bundles = losing sales ?

I'd like to buy a few synths by a few companies , yet they don't offer bundles / discounts or any scheme where customer loyalty is good... and due to it , I feel do I buy them or go else where...

e.g. fabfilter offer discounts the more you buy...

g-force / u-he offer no bundle deals of such.. pity that.

Nor do they do sales (as far as I can tell).  I have U-Jr's DIVA in line for my next synth purchase, but have seen no signs of any sale.  I was able to get my sales rep at Sweetwater to discount G-Force's Mellotron for me several months ago, but that was only $15 discount and he said that it never went on sale.  Diva and G-Force's Mellotron are a match made in progressive rock heaven.

yer I'll prolly buy diva and you're right the don't do sales or bundles.. I asked em.. but I'd be encouraged to buy zebra or ace if I knew I was getting an incentive , like others do.

g force were a bit blunt and I thought when I contacted them.. so regadless of how good 2 of their synths are.. it did put me off

"a little pricey for what they are."

IMHO, "the prices of software," even the, "best of the best," top of the line software; are on the way down.

Just..  Around two months ago I picked up, "all synth squad," for $69..   That is all...   Well that +, I noticed Eventide is coming to VST world..   They want $700 for one of their products...   LOL!!!   That is going to drop like a rock..   Over the next couple of years.

    Cheers

The least-expensive hardware synthesizer I've ever owned was a MicroMoog, and IIRC it cost $1,200 in 1970's dollars, about £500 at the time. My two main hardware synths I'm using today cost $1,700 and $1,500. Makes a $200 software synth look like a real bargain!

Mind you, I wouldn't complain if prices came down.  What I'm waiting for, though, is not cheaper synths but rather the arrival of one ultimate soft synth that can do anything and is easy to program. If such a thing existed (it doesn't; I've looked) you could pay just once and be done with it.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I ended up buying diva yesterday.. really like that and d16's lush... I might have sprung for uhe's zebra also if there was a cut.

adversey fxpansion discounted a vst fx I used too quickly IMHO.. to make me annoyed to complain

I'm not gonna even start on IK's pricing and can't using jampoints and their download system is from the ARC ;-) . they do remind me of "don't throw the baby out with the dirty water" .. they discount good things way too quick
