oh my.... after 30 years of waiting, look what arrived

So, i had sold a Harley this year and the money was almost gone with nothing to show, so the balance was used to fill a 30 year wait..a Les Paul.. So, now, finally, after wishing to be married again to have someone hand me the always lost keys and wallet, tis fair to say that had i still been married this would have said "Epiphone"

Are you regretting the lost opportunity of a blissful marriage in a ship that sailed away (last summer) when your multiple personalities were induced?

That is one sweet girl ya got there.
And this coming from a drummer.

I actually own a few guitars (nothing fancy) and have them hanging on my studio walls.
That one would go in a plexiglass case for sure.

    Hi,

You sold a HARLEY for that piece of wood?

    Yes, that was the problem...

I had been hankering after a Les Paul since a teenager, and you know how it goes..life gets in the way.. but every time I went into a store my eyes would raise to the top row of the unreachable guitars.. fell in lust with desert burst about 5-7 years ago, and while browsing sweetwater, where they have photos of each individual guitar in stock, i saw this one and my eyes popped...

It is uncommon to see quilted maple, and when you do see it, its usually large splotches, this one is like a flame/quilt hybrid and it is indeed drop dead gorgeous with a tone to match... here with my 1999 hardtail..
