    barry - I don't understand your question.

    ARP>Peavy USB mixer>Sonar

that's the correct answer, from what am understanding - are you wanting to know what to select INSIDE the sonar project?

Bat, was that really necessary?  I just went through some slight living heck installing the Sonar Octa-capture.  Its tricky ... and I've got a degree in rocket science electronics engineering technology.

    +1 Reece

... the synth --> Pre  --> the mixer --> DAW

Make sure the if the synth utilizes your pre to give it a High-Z input (to the mixer's High-Z input) ... balanced or unbalanced (probably doesn't matter).

Please let us know how this star-wars ARP 2600 works out for your productions.

(Off Topic: I'm starting to get letters from ARP ... oh wait ... that's AARP.)

    i believe so, yes.

    LOL

there are certain things that are worth discovering on your own, i believe, if you are concerned with truly learning a craft, this being one of them.

the sonar manual by itself, covers almost all of these types of things...

add to that, any manual with any interface that there is, will walk you through the steps.

despite the obvious analog out into 'some' interface, the question also begs to be asked 'how do i route my signals within sonar?', and 'how do i trim my input signals', and about a thousand other questions....

i usually just take the prong thing, and plug it into the hole thing.

    heheh
