I have saved my older songs from 8-5 and x1 as cwb's, I can load them into x2 on problum, and make changes and re-mix etc then when finish, saved ... but when i re-open them just as it has finishes loading, it crashes, tryed this with many older cwb's ..all crash after making changes and re-loading, all new work on x2 no promlums at all, anyone had this problum, and any one know how I can open these project's without the fatle crash.

Whenever you get an old cwb-file opened and edited, save it as a cwp. Cwb-files are not reliable enough. They should be used only temporarily for moving projects between computers and such. If a cwb gets corrupt, you can't rescue your project.

Someone usin X2 maybe has a remedy for your crashing problem, let's hope.

I agree with Kalle about using cwb's - they are unreliable and buggy.

In your case, assuming you still have either 8.5 or X1 installed on your system, open them up in there and re-save as a cwp - then you should be able to open them up in X2 without problems.
