    Sounds like soundtrack music.

The drums get buried a bit when the lead comes in though. I'm listening with headphones.

I like the tune it has a definite mood to it like an old Doors tune.

I like it.  I love the little intro riff that carries on through out the song.  The somber, reflective mood is carried throughout the song.  The vocals are great and complement the mood of instrumentation of the song.  There is a kind of Doors feel to this number but if I had to put a spin on it, it would be the Doors meet Pink Floyd.  The drums might come forward a wee bit but too much would cause the feel of the song to be lost.
    Very nice indeed!

You write some very compelling music.  As the others noted this has a very "soundtrack" feel and I could hear this being the theme to a James Bond movie.  The opening riff reminds me of "I want You (She's so Heavy)" by the Beatles, but that's not a bad thing.  You definitely are on to something here.  Excellent track.

about 15 years ago played that riff to death
    about 20 min
    the feel never left me

    I dig your stuff. Man.

You seriously carve out your own territory, which makes you very listenable in my book. The older I get, the less I care for the mainstream stuff. I think your voice suits what you are trying to do extremely well.

Please take people's "references" as compliments, because it's a testament to your idiosyncratic style that people try to classify and label you . . . if that makes any sense?

So I'll just throw out a little "Dead Can Dance"  and possibly "Leonard Cohen" but jeepers, you have your own lane and it's really good.

    cheers,
    -Tom

It sound like an interesting tune and there is some nice playing in there.  For me the Bass is a little to present and sounds very much like it is in a different space, this may be down to the general reverb level of everything else.  The drums are as a result still a little buried.

Thanks for sharing a few more tweaks on the mix and you will get there.

This is one of the more haunting songs that I've heard, recently.  I can't really critique it because I'm enjoying the listening experience so much.  Good job, good song!

I just flat out love this. A spooky space blues for the 21st century. Combines the ethereal with the gritty. fantastic stuff.

this is pretty cool work.  I listened to the original and the remix, I still think the drums are too low.

the vox are dripping wet and have an echo on them.  I guess that's what you wanted, but I would back off of it a little if it were me.

    nice work

As someone else said "haunting".  I didn't care too much at first but it built to something that I really liked.  Different.  The drums at the end seem fine but seemed a bit low in the beginning.  That could just be me.  Man, this is a very interesting tune.  Nice performances.
