opening old midi .cwp's and missing soft synth files!

       I was wondering about 2 things. First since X1c seems to be working just fine my question is about what you guys use. I have many old cwp files back when I was a heavy midi user, and of all the soft synth that come with X1, which would be the best to use to try and map out the midi tracks for lets say just some standard Piano, pads, bass and synth sounds? 
       Now onto the second question. I noticed after trolling thru some of the soft synths, files are missing. RXP for example says "click here to browse grooves!", I click and theres nothing. Ive tried looking in all the folders marked RXP and still nothing. SFZ is another soft synth that has no files I can find for it, did I do something wrong when loading the package? Im running X1c, win7 professional at 3.67GHz with 12G ram and use an Audiobox USB from Presonus!
