parameter in aud.ini file change

Hi,

Can I change the Picture folder in the Aud.ini to reflect my back up drive instead of the C: drive or does CW automatically reference that file?

I am doing a full system tweek to get my system set up for audio production and I increased the Picture cache and noticed the file location I mentioned above.

Thanks
Tom

I just set my picture cache to my external drive under Options/Global/Audio Data.
It's been that way for years and I've never had issues with it.

Of course the first time you open projects after the setting is changed Sonar will have to re-draw the waveforms but that's no biggie.

Thanks for the help. I expreimented a little by copying the file first then altering the contents and reloading it to it's locations. It seems fine. I have a friend that is a programmer who is going to look at the different things that file will control for me.

    See ya

    Thanks
