pc posting issue / graphic card

never had this before.. but the bleep codes are saying there is an issue with the graphics card.

it's a gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3 and the gfx card is a PCI-E ASUS 7600GT which is old.. but the fan goes on with it etc.

the old slot is orange.. and this new board they are blue, cyan like. and say they are for ati crossfire.. so do I need an ati board? as they are PCI-E slots

the bleep code says its my monitor or gfx card.. I just built it today..

it's been a nightmare really as the case is woeful for it and made a lot of problems and they sent the wrong version of windows and a few more issues.

thought someone here might have an idea? besides changing the gfx card.. as I know that works in my other pc.. and obv. without the gfx card I only have the bleeps to go by.. and yep I did rehouse it in a different slot etc

or am I missing something really obvious ?

    lots gone back now.. I'm highly guessing it was a MOBO issue. as I sorted everything as prescribed
