just google "dpc latency" and follow the directions. post your results here.

You might also review page 252 of the Reference Guide. Do a search on "memory". FWIW I have wondered myself on this because alot of different systems (Memory installed 4, 6, 8, 12, 16) and most will start around (12%) . I have noticed mine at times jump to 22% when working here and there but goes back to lower. Not sure why (alotta changes with Plug-Ins and ProChannel as I go). I am still working at getting the system happy with all settings (bit rates, buffer sizes, etc..) but am kinda taking it easy as long as I can work until X1b comes out.

Control Panel/Harware and Sound/ Devices and Printers/ Computer/ on the hardware tab scroll down to your Network device and select it, then properties/ on the Driver Tab select Disable. I would also Stop anti-virus as well just to check while running X1

yes, you should disable your wireless when using sonar. that's always advisable. and yes, you can reconnect later.

I believe bitflipper even posted a way to make those 2 functions a shortcut on his desktop. one for disabling, one for enabling.

Charlie alias Chuckebaby What you refer to CPU meter in SONAR X1 (yellow meter) are memory use of the Windows 7 system... It has nothing to do with any CPU load in SONAR or how much MEMORY SONAR X1 use exclusive. It only show how much the current % are of all total memory in whole Windows system. Problem solved... Regards Freddie

Problem solved... thanks freddie, ive pretty much figured that out.but it has alot to do with sonareven if what you say is true, which i believe it is..why would these meters even be in sonar??because there trying to give you a basic idea of the load your putting on windows??right??so in all relevence it has a lot to do with the cpu load in sonar.because it is effecting how much cpu load your putting on your computer therefor relates totaoly to sonar, thanks freddie :)..really aprecitae evryones help here.
