pitch bend controller.

hi,

i got a question. i have an emu emax and want to use its pitch bend for changing maybe the cutoff freuquencies of an vst plugin. is that possible?
i read the manual but don`t really find the specific topic for that so i was wondering if that is possible.

thx a lot

Doesn't the Emax have a Mod Wheel? You should be able to assign the mod wheel to Filter Frequency.

Most likely in your Filter edit area, you probably can assign Mod Wheel to Filter AMT or something similar. I've never used an emax some I'm just going on principles here.

what do i have to do in sonar?
Load the VST plugin in the FX Bin. Right-click and Arm for Automation. Select Filter Cutoff parameter (or Arm All). Select track and click FX button under Track Inspector until blue. Right-click one of the four widgets and Reassign Control to the Cutoff Frequency parameter.

Right-click on the widget again and choose Remote Control. Click on the Learn button and move your Pitch bend or modulation wheel. KB control will be recognized, and OK out to bind the two together. Move the wheel and the widget and cutoff frequency are adjusted. Prepare to have a blast ...
