pitch shift on second recording

pitch shift on second recording

The first recording is fine. On the second recording playback, the pitch is shifted to what seems to be a half a step higher. I have the bit depth at 16 and the sample rate at 44100. What is my problem?

    What do you mean by the second recording? A second audio track in the same project? A second project?

    What software are you using?

    What soundcard?
