please help..

i am a beginner with this sonar 8 and i don't know how to set up my audio with this zoom r16..i am trying to record a vocal and an acoustic guitar and all i've got is my sound from the guitar from the channel 2 of my zoom r16...the vocals from channel 5 of my zoom r 16 i don't know...please help me.

    Mabuhay, Francis, and welcome to the forum.
     
    I have no experience with the R16, so I had to look up the product description. It features 8 inputs, so I assume its driver supports 8 independent inputs. That means when you select the input source for an audio track you should see 8 (or more) sources listed in the dropdown list next to "I" in the track header. If you do, then select which of the R16's input channels you want for that track. If you don't see them, perhaps you haven't installed the Windows driver for the R16 yet.
     
    I know several people here are R16 users, so perhaps some will chime in.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
