plugin issue

plugin issue

I recently recieved Waves v7 pluginsand  have loaded it on my pc (windows xp and my daw is sonar 7 producers edition).I see all the plugins in my plugin folder but when I got to use one they pop up with no graphics of function bottons . Just a gray box pops up. what did i do wrong?

    Try disabling X-Ray in sonar. You can also try using the DX version instead of the vst version. You can also close the plugin and then double click on it again in the Fx box in sonar. it should work..
