plugin menu items spacing

Hi there.  The spacing between items in my plugin menus seems to have grown in the new version.  I had carefully sorted my menu so that it filled the screen exactly without needing to scroll.  Now it looks like I might have to go through and bury some plugins so that I don't have to scroll again.

Is it possible to change the spacing of the items back to what it was?

Also, isn't it time Cakewalk either made the menu sort into columns, or at least allow the scroll wheel to scroll the menu?

I like your ideas for improving the plugin menu. I think you should make a feature request for this. Nice ideas.

Hi there.  The spacing between items in my plugin menus seems to have grown in the new version.

By "plugin menu" do you mean FX Rack? If so, then looking at the Sonar help file, I think the reason for the increased space between the effects in the FX Rack is so that Sonar can show you the relationship between the effects that are directly next to each other on the list.

If you look carefully at the FX rack, you will notice that there are little vertical lines between each effect to show you whether those effects are mono, stereo or surround effects.  Without this spacing, there would be no effective way to show these small vertical lines.

To see what I mean, open up the Sonar Platinum help file and search for "dynamic fx rack" and go to that entry.  It is also explained in the PDF Reference Guide on page 84 and 85.

sorry, I mean the menu which appears if you right click the fx bin on a track, for example.  The traditional way of inserting effects into sonar.  For whatever reason Cakewalk seems to have changed the line spacing in the new version.
