Amazing that Fruity Loops has developed into a real powerhouse in DAW...their original UI was the first time I ever saw the equivalent of what is now our Step Sequencer. I had a lot of fun with that and exported a lot of drum loops, which were played back with my Roland Sound Canvas SC55!
