post nuclear ambient acid house

Another track done, this one was not too much of a nightmare to mix, the main problems I felt I was dealing with was the sub bass which I tend to overcook as I have no way of adequately monitoring it, some nasty resonances in the lead synth at 200hz and taming the necessarily spacious reverb to avoid it all going into muddy mess.

After I did it the first time (it's a remix of an old track of mine) my mate said it needed livening up with some field recordings so I took him literally and got some sheep from a field in Cornwall.

My ears are quite enjoying this.  Some nice bits of ear candy to keep the interest going.  I like the subdued but relentless kick.

You may get some comments about the length but I could float off on this for 6 minuets or so.

Nice thanks for sharing.

Cheers wookie, yeh I realise the length is a little self indulgent there are two places where a repeat could probably be cut but I quite liked it. Growing up some of my favourite tracks were 6 or 7 minute monsters, I remember one of my mates saying all the music you like is ridiculously long - he preferred punk that weighed in about the 2:30 mark.
