This is really cool - Reminds me of Def Leppard. I wanna jump in my car and drive to this.
Love your guitar work and the tones you use.
Very tight sounding - but not over-produced.
    Some nice drumming too.
Fantastic mix - can't fault it.

Another excellent tune Batty. The intro/verse has shades of Bristol Jonesy in it. Perfect sqeaky clean lick at .45. The changes all flow nicely. Very cool.

that's so cool, to know i got a melody floating around out there in somebody else's head!
    thanks!

i'm not familiar with bristol jonesy.... i'm gonna go check that out.
    the lick at :45.........
you mean the little lead fill....
i originally had an instrumental version of this song, i went back and culled the best little snippets of that original solo, re-learned those parts and used them as the lead fills between the verses...

Drummer is really good! Great song, nice guitar playing and singing. ...Waiting for a nice guitar break ... there it is! Nice, but actually I was hoping you would have changed it up on this one to a slower mood and then kicked it back in again. ( You really have a nice style on the acoustic as well ) Nice Job, Great tune.

this one, was a more modern version of a song i wrote many years ago, on the acoustic...
the lyric was completely different then.

but a few years ago, a friend of mine died in a truck accident on the side of a mountain..
and i envisioned his spirit leaving the body and going...... where ever it is you go.
this was sort of a tribute song to him.

    janet
appreciate it. you should go to florida! it's great.
fly down to miami, rent a car, and drive down to key west, stopping in largo, islamorada, marathon along the way.
but the lyric i had in mind here, was the spirit of a dead guy going to heaven.. or wherever!
    LOL
that's ok, it's nice to know others can get something else out of it!

    mgh
    thanks man.
that solo, that's the combination of the mark2b boogie, and a carvin dc200K keeping it gainy and clean at the same time....

This is a very disctinct mix.  I can hear everything clearly no muddled tones.  Great recording and mixing, a space for everything and everything in it's space.

Well executed, an excellent radio mix, impressive work.

    Rob,
You must have ran this through the awsomizer! The only thing that bothered me was the guitar that plays in my right speaker from 1:37 - 1:50. It acted a bit harsh on my right ear. Probably just my speakers or my ears...dunno. Either way, it is an excellent production that boasts virtuosity.

whatever that awsomizer machine is, i'd love to have one!
    LOL
sometimes i get harsh by accident, sometimes by design, in the case of that one, it was by design..
i did some tricks with it, using an enhancer, unfortunately, it doesn't sound good on all playback systems...
    what were you listening with?
probably the worst, with really good headphones..
but thanks for all the nice comments.
