prefer_disk_installer_by_far_please

using platinum greetings of the day, Wayne here, I haven't used forum since sonar 7 was new,.i have every version since that one, and 2 versions prior to sonar 7,. goes back to sonar 4.. 
Just did a clean install of windows 10 to a blank c drive  4 disk array,.
in fact I just finished installing all of the older versions. being careful not to duplicate effects installs,.
 no trouble installing previous versions of SONAR,. everything went smoothly.
then I get to sonar platinum, after the install all I found was demo mode,.
had to go on line and not happy about it at all,., so as long as I'm here,. I may as well let someone know ,.
as the number one issue in the read me is the installer, I guess I'm repeating what is already known,.
it took about 3 hours to download help file documentation? what did they download,.? videos and all?
 , I haven't the foggiest notion why it took so long at average of 450 kilo bits per second,.budget whoas, the phone connectinn keeps me addicted to internet services and it has been costing more then sonar to keep this line up every month,. when I disconnected the internet, I saved up enuf to buy a very nice pre , after a few short years,.,
using internet keeps me from getting any work done on my projects, hard to do anything else but concentrate on all of the various web sites, infact I wouldn't have had to do a clean in stall had it not been for internet line hack'nattck breaking into my install and breaking stuff,.
    useful would be a listing of all effects as the effects heading have been renamed and I do not want to download doubles of anything,. I prtty much have all of the effects cakewalk offers, ,.no sence in loading the c drive up with doubles, , the less amount of data installed,. the quicker c drive responds,.so,
I did have sonar platinum installed already before the hack attack ,
same issue, took too long to install,l and then never did get hardly any thing but the minimal installation,
not much new this year , but what is new is good ,that is everything works ,.
I haven't seen any little issues like I usually do, I usually work around any issues and make a note of it .
but then never go on line,. so my notes on issues found are wasted time ,
oh well, my bad ,
as I say I don't like having to shell out bucks for the phone connection every month and don't hardly every use the thing.
its ok if your  budget is big , mine isn't and its ok if you don't mind having your drives stuck out there where anyone can access and download files in a blink of an eye several years worth of work on midi files could have left my machine without me knowing it ,I feel safer when the line is not connected, as it will be soon as this install is complete,.
,. so thanks for the good work done, cleaning up all of the various troubles we've had since sonar X came out,. that was a big job moving all of those dialog boxes to an new platform looks like it back to being all good again, with exception of the on line installer,.
please bring back the boxed disks,.
oh , I shud mention too,.,it feels like "big brother is watching" kind of thing with this version,
and even tho I have been with cakewalk for ten years , that feels totally foreign to me,.
resistance to learning curves is usual,.
