problem with instrument's tracks

Hello,
A question about  instrument's tracks:
If I create such a track with one instrument; everything's fine.
But I'd like to create, say a sax section, in Garritan Jazz Band, whith 5 tracks for outputting the sounds.(mixing further in sonar)
For editing purpose, I' d like to have the midi tracks for the saxes separated.
Is it possible without creating 5 instances of GJB?
How can I do?

Thanks a lot.

Assuming that Jazz Band uses the Aria engine, yes. You must select the Aria engine (Multi) plugin.

Each of the 16 Aria slots has the ability to change the midi channel it responds to as well as the channels that slot outputs audio to. Right clicking on a slot is how you change these parameters.

You have the ability to have, i.e., 5 midi parts to 5 players, each on a separate output. If you have a 'section' of individual players all playing the same midi part, you can set the players to the same midi channel - and optionally putting each one on a separate audio output channel is as simple as selecting a different output channel.

Don't forget: you need to have an audio track created for each audio output and to set its input to the appropriate Aria engine outputs.
