How will a vocal processor help them sound professional? Professional vocal sounds starts with the vocalist, then the mic and the room, the quality of preamp/channel strip, the performance quality (timing, pitch, lyrics, etc...) and then the quality of the music behind the vocals. I am aware that I am blunt, but if the vocals don't sound good without any effects then that won't help make them sound more professional.
