purchasing problems, hope you can help

hi,

I recently bought Sonar X3 from Cakewalk themselves, liking it over the last couple of weeks. I have then bought the upgrdae via JRR Shop to Sonar X3 Studio.

after a week of waiting i have eventually been given a code but it does not seem to register anywhere via the software, the code is a few digits too long to fit in to the registration code slot.

It looks a lot like a download key  I got from Cakewalk when buying directly but i cannot get it to link to cakewalk or to be able to download the studio version.

If anyone has insight or has had this happen before I would appreciae some help.

I have contacted JRR Shop who said download the demo and register, but code too long as i said plus teh download is for producer not studio.

I have also contacted Cakewalk but no reply as yet and as its the weekend will be a few days till they answer.

so after a week of waiting i still do not have the software installed but any help would be appreciated.

I should ahve gone through Cakewalk instead, but for the few extra ££'s i didnt have it was not an option at this time

cheers

Tony

    Hi Tony,

Have you tried this site? http://www.cakewalk.com/register/faq.aspx There are links on that page, specifically http://www.cakewalk.com/register/default.aspx which you can try. Be SURE to use the same email and contact info that you used when you purchased X3 initially so that the system can validate it (i.e. what you created your CW store account with).

If that does not work, hold out for the support folks to catch this thread, they do come in here, and I will send a PM for you to flag your post. (you need 25 posts before you can send Private Messages)

       Best regards,
       Michael
