question on sonitus delay

You know how you can get a wide vocal harmony stereo feel with sonitus delay. I was wondering if there are any hardwear devices to give that effect live. The ones I've tried give more of a phase effect rather than a wide effect which I do not like

Try 30ms delay on one and 45ms on the other channel and 10-20% mix.

Skarda, the problem with it live and why you are getting phasing...is because in live situations, most times we're mono. The widening thing happens from a stereo feed. The problem with this live is...if you have a mono P.A. it all gets summed to mono anyway and then it sort of phases through the mains. If you didn't have a mono P.A. then some people would only get half of the effect and that would sound phased too. LOL! So you really can't win this battle other than if you run a stereo rig on stage and it's for your own head.
