Primordial dawn. I'm getting a really nice image from this.
Drums and pads have a very satisfying, thick, misty sound to them.
I get a sense of everything being wet. Not a saturated in reverb wet, but rainforest wet. The sun trying valiantly to punch through the fog and heavy foliage. I love it when a piece creates a vivid image with relatively few brush strokes.
I am hearing what sounds like digital clipping on the pads, but our house got hit by lightning in the radical thunderstorm that passed through Fort Worth Monday morning, and I'm not entirely sure some of my equipment didn't sustain some damage.

I would think to roll off the highs on the hats just slightly to give them a bit more distance, fitting in better with the pad.
