"Blue Son Herb" - first song off the new album!
Here's a new tune for my upcoming second CD which will be called "XR7" after my beloved 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7! It features Chris Coleman on drums, Ronnie Gutierrez on Percussion, Andy Langham on Piano, and I played bass live. Afterwards I added some guitar and synth. It's not done, but I wanted to share it with you guys! All recorded on X1, with cheap mics and preamps, at my friend Mouse's house. Lemmeno what ya'll think! Don't tease us with a classic car and not give us the details! 351? Cleveland or Windsor? This is a really cool bit of music. I love this style. What a great bunch of players! Thanks for the ride! Very well done!

I love this style too. Reminded me of some of Allan Holdsworth's solo stuff. This is fantastic and i love everything about it. I got totally lost in this. Fabulous musicianship and arrangement of a superb composition. Wonderful Rico. 10/10. Bravo.

This is not a style that I listen to, but after listening I had to post something, because the musicianship is just stellar, and mix sounds fantastic. Great work, and great playing.

Hi Rico. Talented musicians. Drums and percussion are incredible. Piano is stellar. Bass playing is fantastic. Guitar/Synth parts fit but I wouldn't have minded a bit more volume on some those brief two and three note passages since the rythym is working off it. I very much enjoyed this. This absolutley has shades of Holdsworth (read Blipps comment). Tunes like City Nights of secrets and such.
