"Can't Wait" new acoustic song work in progress (final arrangement added 12/27)

Little work in progress, tracked the main vox last night, need to add drums and finish backing vox yet. 7 tracks so far:

Not sure about drums for it yet, but I think it will really fill it in nice.

Recording notes; all live instruments and vox through an AT4050 into a Mackie Onyx pre...bass is DI into a MXR M80. I added a little verb and delay into the main vox so it wasn't so dry for a rough mix. I recorded the main rythm acoustic, then the rest...then had to rerecord it after it was dull sounding (just needed to change strings...lol)

Final arrangement, and possible good mix as of 12/27:

You're off to a good start, Ron.  Everything sounds well recorded and tight, and you vocals are performed well, too.  I would have liked to have heard the harmonies earlier, but it does give the ending a buildup.  Keep us posted on this.

The harmonies will come in earlier, just didn't lay them down yet. I'm thinking during the passages "Just need the timing to be right" there will be a 2 part harmony, and a 3-4 part harmony for the backround vox in a few places.

Thamnks everyone...just got done tracking the last elements...really tried to be tasteful and keep it from getting too cluttered. I feel that some of the "sparkle" was lost during the conversion, and I may need to brighten up the mix a tad...so I would really appreciate comments on the tonal balance.
