I've been using the mini Eleven Free that came with the DAW.

It is very limited in features but has a decent sound.

I had lots of FUN with it but it kind of sounds just like all the other sims I've tried or heard... dead and life less.

I'm realizing that for me, I think sim gear is perfect for playing money making music to drunk people, while it doesn't really offer a lot of sonic satisfaction when I get to use it just for pleasure or recording.

The Eleven rack hardware offers so much more than just a sim... and I just have the limited experience of the limited version of the sim... so I don't know nothing. :-)

I haven't read one bad review on it.
USB- so curious about latency issues, if any
    and I imagine there is.

    No interest in the sim.

The only reason I use it is to not make a lot of noise at night...

I tend to use AT3.7 though more...
