"Freaky"
I realized it has to be since the 70's since I've used that word and today after reading the Sonar forum and the CH...it's the only thought that I had so figured I'd post it. Freaky.

"groovy"...nope. Never took hold for me. "far-out"...yeah, I guess Cheech and Chong probably caused that one to stick. Neither of which I experienced today. Just freaky.

I was in a band in the '80's with a drummer who would unexpectedly yell ''Mmmm!! Beaucarb!!'' from behind his kit. We never did know what that meant.

LOL. No. I've changed my ways and see the forums have too for the most part. You that have known me for years probably recall a few times when computers pissed me off...well my internet PC that sat next to my badass Alien music one pissed me off a few weeks ago...chunka chunka ...can't believe how trashing one of those makes me feel so liberated. I guess the older I get the more I'm regressing to my young one attitudes. I hit 61 a few days ago and got home and found this present... I had it returned. I couldn't except that...to much and the only LP's I'd care to play are The Beatles Mobile Fidelity collection...so it will remain un-played. I'd say that was pretty freaky- me returning such a nice gift...but that wasn't the word...and I'm not repeating the ones I thought but will say it wasn't easy all the way around. Maybe ''Mmmm!! Beaucarb!!'' would have been much nicer. :)

Now I'm going to spend all day thinking of words like that. "Neato" comes to mind. And I think "ain't" used to be a lot more popular than it is today. But I don't feel particularly inclined to revive either of those.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Freaky, ent means the same in the South East too. "'at ent 'ees as 'ern an if it ent 'ern iss airn" Which roughly translates "That isn't his that is hers and if it isn't hers it is ours"... :D

I didn't think I was alone. It something like going to a place like a favorite pub that you haven't been to for some time and it's freaky...like you crossed over into the twilight zone and everything is freaky and ya get those eeby geebees and you shiver while rubbing the hairs on your arms and you want to haul ass before whatever it is gets you too. You make it out and then you wonder if you were just freakin' out or if there was really something strange or freaky going on so ya go back...and damn! You were right! You know it's never going to be the same and you relax knowing it's not you and whatever the reasons you're just glad that your not caught up in the serial nightmare repeating relentlessly day after day, night after night......and then you realize...YOU'RE BACK! AND IT'S FREAKY and you FREAK because it's like a loop and you can't escape......................and tell yourself.............well it could be worse..........or could it?.........so you wonder if there is anything freakier than being caught in a loop not being able to escape and it hits you like a Mack truck that it just didn't happen...it's been looping and you've been repeating the same freaky **** for years and years and years. And then reality hits...just it post and go enjoy life and let the freaky **** carry on without you. All's good. Relax.

We say "ent" in Worcester too. Only most of the people who utter it probably couldn't spell it
