You can put them in a spreadsheet. If you don't have Excel, you could use the Open Source spreadsheet application. The you can sort and search them on any field. Something like this:
Patch # Patch Name Synth Name Patch Folder Category Description
Getting the list of patches from Dimension Pro for example would require you to print the file names from the folder and then cut and paste them into the spreadsheet. It would be a lot of work and that's why I haven't done it. I have literally thousands of patches.
