Right at the point where "You're probably wondering what this video is about" flashed up, I was wondering, so good timing on that. Hope you learnt something on the video software. Nice tune BTW. Regards, Dan

Hello big Dan and Daryl, Wow! Two posts in, and no one has called me an "amateur" yet! :) Actually, this is my first ever video, and I'm sure it shows. Adobe Premiere Elements filled with free clips harvested from the interwebbery. I'm beginning to realize it looks akin to something an advanced 5th grader would make for a class project. But thanks for the views and glad you liked the song. -Tom

That is a nice groove Tom. really like the track, getting some Shakatak, Level 42 vibes. You've certainly learned how to put a video together, perhaps the next one will be more cohesive eh? some of it worked nicely with the mood of the track, the outer space shots and the misty coastline/mountains for example, but stuff like the 1950's guy talking and the early Disney-esque text boards were a bit out of place to me.

Nice groove Tom, wobbly EP is always a winner with me. As usual I did not really watch the video. Nice share thanks.

Haha! Yeah, as Dan says, I was wondering what this video was about... Thankfully all became clear So do you think you'll carry on with the video editing then? I liked doing it, but, hell, it's even more time consuming than creating music! Talking of music, yeah, that was pretty cool too Another keeper, as they say cheers andy

The video was quite trippy... The tune was quite nice. Great groove, with some really nice playing over top. The "piano section" about 2/3 thru was my favorite part - loved those chord changes and lines. Really good stuff all around.

Cool vid Tom! LOL, "cats in baskets of yarn". Yeah, I had to pause it to read all that.... I liked all the trippy images, must be a reflection of my wilder, more "experimental" days And the track was sweet. Your piano work was great as usual. And a great groove with cool changes. All in all, I really enjoyed it, thanks!

Nice laid back tune with a very cool and catchy melody. This is really well done - the sound is perfect to my ears. Loved the video - don't think you need to change a thing.

Sounds sweet -- terrific mix and your playing (as usual) is great. (Did I hear a takeoff on the bassline and rhythm guitar from Blondie's Rapture in there?) I enjoyed the listen a lot. Allan =-=-=

Super cool groove, nice playing and arrangement ...and that bass line is just great. The mix translates perfect on my small monitors. Enjoyed this! Regards, Daniel

Loved the piece... cool groove, great bass line. I found the video quite entertaining, and didn't think it seemed liked someone's first effort at all.

Thanks a lot for the views and comments! Phil, thanks, I'm glad you were entertained, which honestly was what I was shooting for. The song i think is a great groove, but a melancholy one in spots, and I wasn't sure how the goofy vid yucks would play. John Firesong X, many thanks for the listen and the watch! Daniel, I'm glad you found the mix acceptable on smaller speakers. The more I listen to this, the more I think the snare might be poking out a bit too much. The bassline I actually played on a real bass, so many thanks for the compliment! I'm getting too used to using the bass plug-ins lately. Allen - thanks for the listen, glad you liked it. That Blondie Rapture bassline is pretty iconic (audioconic?) but I wasn't consciously slipping any of that in there. Still, your comment is a great excuse to go back and give Rapture a listen, I think that's a great tune, highly recommended to the youngsters out there. MarkusClinus, awesome, glad you dug it and as I have no real time to change anything anyway, sounds like we are good to go! thanks for the listen. RSCain, super glad you watched and thanks for the kind remarks, much obliged. You may be the only person who read that whole screen, so thanks for the extra effort! SteveC, yeah baby, thanks for the kudos especially on some of the piano parts! Which I spend the least amount of time on, actually, so less is waaay more in this case. Andy de Synkrotron - yea! glad you liked it. I definitely will make more videos, because making vids is essentially like editing audio - lots of fine little work, microscopic sometimes, which I actually like doing! Thanks for the listen. Wookie, thanks, more wobbly epiano coming right up! My next song is kind of like this one, only funkier. Give me six months!!! :) Jamesg1213 - I totally agree with your comments and my greatest fear was that someone would attempt to locate a narrative in the mish-mosh :) so now that I have put a toe in the YouTube water, I'll try harder to be more intentional and less reliant on dumpster-diving free video clips and pastiching them! cheers, and may all your Black Friday wishes come true! -Tom
