"Just A Bit Outside" - Something different for me and X1D
This song is completely different from anything I've ever done, I have no idea where it came from, except it's about getting a little, ahem, wiser. heh It's my first song mixed in X1D, I hope you like it! Just A Bit Outside

This is sooooooo cool Bob. Love it. crits: I think the chorusy section (nowhere to run etc) should maybe peak out of the mix a bit more. Or, maybe take those horn fills in that section and nudge em so they don't compete with the voc. If a young girl calls me sir, I spank her.

Great sound "just a bit outside is catchy", but sould come up in the mix for that reason. At times your vocal style reminds me of Bowie. Thats a good thing by me. I not sure, but I think I'd like to hear a bit more comp and reverb on the vocal good lyric as well Terry

I agree with Terry, the vocals could come up in the mix, and it does have a Bowie vibe. Really cool song.

Terry and Lynn- Thanks so much for the listens and taking the time to critique. Vocal level is always a problem for me, I think the problem is I know the lyrics so I can always understand them, plus I'm always leery of them being too loud. I'll bump 'em a bit, appreciate it. Bowie, huh? Man, that's a helluva compliment to me. Maybe I'll change my name to Zoggy Stardirt, LOL Thanks again!
