"Liar" Look for opinons

Hello everyone. Just looking for good honest opinions about the mix and the over all quality of the song in general. I always get good usable advice here so thanks in advance! Liar (Test Mix 2)

    There is much to like about this mix.  The vocals are outstanding, and so are the f/x on the lead vocal.  The melody is catchy, and the rhythm makes you want to move.  I hear no bass so I'm guessing that it's coming soon.  This could be a monster song with a good bass line.  I look forward to hearing the finished version.

    All the best,

    I like this a lot - great mix and effects. I'm really interested in how you do the glitchy effect on the vocal at 1.10? Could you tell me? Is it manual editing or a plug in?

    @Lynn
    Thanks for your input. I hadn't reall thought of putting a base line in it. However, if you hear something and you'd like to experiment around with it, let me know. I'll send you the track. If you come up with something I like, I'd use it if let me.

    @Daylaa
    Thanks for checking it out. It's done manually. I autotune the line, then cut out parts starting at 8th notes then 16ths and the last two or three are 32nds if I remember correctly. Took me forever to get it right.

    After the first beakdown with the tape speed up thingy I expected it to get big with a drum sound change and some added instruments (maybe guitar and a BIG BASS sound). I could hear Danny Danzi really snazzing this one up. Maybe you should contact him for some ideas.

    @Bapu,

    Yeah, Danzi is the man. He's got some golden ears. He heard things in my last track that I had to solo to be able to hear. That guy is the truth

    Danny heard some distortion on some toms in a track I was working on with him that I could only hear solo'd too. And the source of the distortion was insane. It was a Superior Drummer Artist preset. But only on the toms, the rest of the drum track was pristine.

    Samson,
      It sounds good but it could really use a bassline in it.  To me it sounds like it should be there and you just muted it before exporting it...  asthough there is a hole in the eq waiting for the bass to fill it in.

    Hip hop symphonics of the highest order.

    Groove and beatz are varied and spectacular.
