"Lounge Lizard" retro French feel

This has a Francis Lai "Bilitis" feel to it. The sighing in the middle's a bit naughty (sorry) but I think it has it's place there. Not sure what was going on in my mind at the time but these things tend to emerge themselves somehow...

I like this a lot... melody reminds me of music I've heard in some romantic movie from the 60's... well done...

You really nailed the retro french thing.  It's a good kind of cheesy.  Hope you don't find that insulting because i meant it as a compliment.

    Very Charles Asnavor :)
The instrumentation and production is excellent - it has a great warmth to it.
Love the offbeat keyboard rhythm going on throughout in the background

Thanks Notnat - you mean a bit like a scene from "A Man and a Woman"

Cheesy is good Dubdisciple - I know what you mean. A bit runny as well.

The whole track's a bit offbeat Daryl - thanks for the warm comments

What a lovely but sad tune.  Very well produced, so much that it takes me back to a few "lizards" that I have known throughout the years.

    All the best,

This is really quite beautiful. You have some great progressions.

    Well done.

    Cheers

Nice job but the drum track sounded alittle low to me in the mix , good job creating this one I liked it ! I would like to hear alittle more kick & snare , over all its pretty cool !
