Hi Ian, thanks for listening, my guitar playing could always be tighter, my sense of timing is an acquired taste. Janet did a stellar job to play along. Rik

Oooh! I love this! 'Had to slam up the volume twice ... for MoreNoise. I'm not qualified for this genre, though I've hacked a bit in this vintage stuff. Those *guitars* are crisp and magical my friend; and I detect Janet's gentle sensitive vibe. Though all instruments a extremely sensitive, collaborative, and harmonized ... as the waters join streams. @1:50 the damn cracks and the waters cascade without theatrical drums, giving such a sweet victorian charm. Outro is soothing as can be ... as the song dribbles downstream. For the watery temperament, delightful dance, and/or classical ambience: 10/10

Very nice. Are you a fan of Bach? I love this. It makes me want to put on a powdered wig and find a lady to bow to. It has a Highland feel in the middle. I want a pint of ale and a whole roast hog... and an Irish barmaid... That was good. No critique from me, I just wrote what I thought and felt whie I listened. Thank you for sharing that! Julien

Hi Philip, thanks very much for listening and glad you liked it . 10 out of 10, wow and thanks. Hi Julien, I'm definitely a Bach fan but this piece was inspired by events two centuries before Bach. So no need to wear that powdered wig. Good luck with that pint, hog and the Irish wench. Glad you like it. Rik

Beautiful melodies and nice execution all around. 1:51 and the corresponding sections there is a bass (resolve) slide that sounds out of tune against the other instruments. It almost works but it's distracting to my ear. My first guitar exposure was to Bach so I have a warm spot in my heart for this genre. Great stuff.

Hi Ed , thanks for listening, closely . I think I know what you mean although it's slightly later then 1:51, there are 3 bass notes where the piano bass notes and double bass and cello clash. They are supposedly all playing the same notes . Rik

That's a very nice piece with excellent dynamics and an engaging arrangement. Put me in mind of Ian Anderson's album 'Divinities'.

Wow. Rik, Janet ... this is awesome. The only thing I would suggest is maybe brighten up the high end on it a little? Each piece the two of you put out keeps getting better and better! Thanks, Bub

Hi James, thanks for listening, hadn't heard "Divinities" before, now I know why I had the urge to stand on one leg . Hi Bub, thanks for the "awesome", I did try to tone down the high end a bit but maybe overdid it. Rik

Hi Vicente, I told Janet I was writing a pirate tune so I thought that was a fitting title. While working on it , it changed more to mock-Tudor so I decided it should be about Anne of Cleves. Glad you liked it. Rik
