"Relapse" with Video - Acknowledge the Darkness
Hi Guys, Here is a song that I posted in the forums many months back in a draft form, here is the final version of the track with video which I debuted at my album launch last week, it went down really well, a real curveball from my other stuff. Co-produced by my long term collaborater (I reckon I can say that by now!) James YoYo. Its a lot edgier and darker to what I normally put out. Have a look and let me know how you feel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzNmv_7bn9w Cian

The mix comes across quite well here Cian, must admit I did not watch the video, thanks for sharing.

I watched! Great vid. Love the kaleidoscope sections, how did you do those? If I remember right from your first version, the vocal was a different take / style? I like this one much better. Is it the same vocal or did you re-sing it? It has a little snakey Middle Eastern bounce to it, pretty cool. I don't know that the word "relapse" comes through enough, I remember commenting before, probably just my ears that hear it as "relax" but that's probably what I want to hear instead, so no problem! Your video was fun, like an animated Rorschach inkblot test. I found myself feeling some unconscious thoughts come up . . . . . . and you might want to put a "strobe light" disclaimer for the epileptically inclined. Yeah, I know, I'm no fun. :) really cool Cian -Tom

Yeah, that is different for you... I liked it! Everything was really well done - great production on a solid song and arrangement, and good choice of synths and sounds. I didn't hear anything out of place. And who woulda thunk it... a short Cian rap.

Chase/Wookie - thanks for the listen Tom, this was all redone with James onboard, and I came a lot more pro than my own version. Some of those videos were taken from other youtube accouts, I dont own all footage, but thought they worked really well. Thanks for the strobe reminder, I had been meaning to do that. James1/James2/Steve & Lynn, thanks a bunch I actually really like this song and proud of it, something different to what I normally do and has some substance behind it. Cian
