"Reply" - Acoustic Comedy Song
Alright, this is a very 'natural', acoustic comedy song I wrote to one of my besties. I used a tad but of pitch correction on the lead vox only, and I recorded pretty much everything live except the 'bells'. Tell me what you think! http://soundcloud.com/davdud101/reply (Here's the original mix): http://soundcloud.com/davdud101/reply-preview

cool song for sure. whistling levels I think are a bit to loud.... but ... aside from some other personal preferences.... it sounds good. It all sounds pretty organic. Which... is a good thing.

Haha, thanks notnat- that's hilarious!! I guess it means the song is 'infectious' in a way. Thanks a bunch, Mike. It was fun to make the sounds :D Thanks for listening, GH. I'll definetly have to look out for that in the future, but it got to where I wanted, so I'm glad for that. Hey James, I'm happy you got just as much of a kick out of it as I did making it!! Thanks a TON, Lynn, I really put some hard work into polishing the final mix of this song. I'll have an 'official video' for this song soon, so keep your eyes open and Keep the replies coming!!!

Ha! That's fun. Perhaps the whistling is a bit too loud, but I might not have noticed if Herb hadn't mentioned it. :) I also wondered if the whistling is in tune. Anyway, lots of fun! Good job!

Thanks, Dodsie and Janet! I somewhat intentionally made the whistling a bit sloppy to increase the kinda comedic feel of the song. I recorded both the lead and harmony whistling twice to 'beef it up', and the final sound was just what I was looking for. Thanks again!

Yea, this made me laugh. The choice of instrumentation makes it even more comical. Theres a real organic swing to it and the percussion is really enjoyable. Ill be honest I really struggled to hear the words especially at the start. Cian
