This is a nice, happy little song David. Very original sounding. At first I was kind of wondering about the vocal being so dry, but the longer I listened, the better I liked it. I can't really comment on the mix, because I'm using my phone and earbuds. But it sounded good to me. You did a good job on this!

This is a great song with a lovely vocal. I liked the vox effects (maybe its just doubled?) but I'm not so sure about the drums. I listened in earphones and it sounded very muddy with too much stereo effects. Maybe its clearer in speakers though. Great work! The nice chord progression reminded me of an old Level 42 song. =)

Sounds like Terry (Groovenroad) and the late Davey Jones of Monkeys fame in the vocal area. The song format is fitting of C Lo and the muppets. Maybe you can sell it to them for some big money!

@speedtom Do you think so? I did put in some hours on this one, so I'm really glad you like it! (And thanks for the OC comparison, I was listening to him a little more than usual a couple days before writing this one) @notnat Thanks again, notnat. 2013 was a good ear for me brush up on production skills. @LeadFoot Thanks a bunch for listening. I've always kinda liked a dry, up-front vocals sound for certain types of pop music. Thanks for listening! @Leizer Hi, Leizer! The chorus vox is doubled and then panned a little bit... I liked the sound of it. I'll take a look at the drum kits, as that is definitely a possibility. I put a slight touch of reverb over the whole track to kinda glue it, so that may have something to do with that. And thanks on the chord prog., it usually is what comes to me first in songwriting. @elix I thought about the same thing- the whole track is a little too sibilant. Glad you like this one, though :) @rebel007 Thanks, rebel007. My primary goal thus far has always been to top my previous release, and I think I did it with this one :D @jamesg1213 Thanks a ton for listening, James. I made the last 4 months of 2013 really heavy on learning mixing and composition and stuff, so I'm finally starting to accelerate. @Scottytunes Haha, I've been compared to Davy Jones (and similar artists) quite a bit! That would definitely be a step in the right direction XD Sorry I replied to everyone at once. Thanks to everyone for listening!

Nice vocals and creative background music. Not sure all the hissing and static is worth while in this, but it your piece and you know what you were shooting for, so it must work for you. The vocals are really good though. Nice one. Peace and Blessings, John

Hey, tgp. This was my 'attempt' [?] at an atmospheric intro and outro. If that's in reference to the vocals ever, I did an additional 'whisper' vocal take on the chorus to add some sizzle. Thanks for having a listen!

Dave, this is a well crafted tune that was over before I was ready for it to be over. The vocal and instruments shine in this. Everything is well laid out and crystal clear. The only thing that caught my attention was that the electronic bass drum sample sounded like it was panned a bit too far to the left, but it did not distract from the recording. Great job!

Hey Lynn, Thanks for (repeat-)listening! I have noticed that I tend to quit cadences one or two repeat before I should, and so this song is rather short IMO. I do feel the 'leftedness' of the bass- I employed the Channel Tools plugin to stereo widen it and I suppose it has something to do with the phase. Thanks a bunch, Lynn!

This works well, I agree the atmosphere may be a bit overdone but your song your taste. Thanks for sharing.
