    Nice production and I know that if I was on a dance floor I'd appreciate it a bunch more but as with many of these tunes, it is produced nicely but lacks the "hook or lead" to keep me in.  I did listen to the whole thing and could visualize sitting in a movie and hearing this but then I'd have something visual to keep me in.  I can't say anything about the quality because it is definitely top notch.  I guess it depends on what the tune is meant for.  Very nicely done!

    evadianepug: Thanks for the comments, you nailed it, this is for a soundtrack. Most of my songs are.

    New version up with another layer of drums toward the end.

    Janet, might be your connection again : }

    Yes, sorry...I should have said it's most likely my connection and that I'd be back.  :)

    Anyway, it worked this time...really cool stuff!  I agree with Warren and a lack of 'hook' but I like it anyway.  I can definitely imagine it in a movie, moving the scene along.  Very nice!

    Thanks Janet, there is another new version with another layer, a rave kind of bass sound put through Native Instruments Guitar Rig, I think it adds...

    Honestly it's hard to remember the first version, but this is great.  I'm noticing the piano a lot now, which I love.  This is the second piece I've listened to tonight that makes me wanna go play the heck out of my keyboard...and it's been awhile, so that's a good thing.  I can't even imagine how you do all those synths.  Maybe I'll learn that some day.  Great piece!

    Great vibe and sound.  I agree with Warren, a chorus or bridge.  But really cool sound.

    I used True Pianos for the background piano, "Inside The Piano" from Dimension, one of my favorites, is the Lead Piano.
    The opening strings are from the new String ssection intrument in X1. FM 8 from native instruments and also massive and guitar rig from native instruments. The drums are from Beatscape.

    There is something about this piece that is addictive. I have played it a number of times and each time I like it more. My only suggestion is to add a bit of bass to give a little more richness - perhaps cellos in the lower register. But to be honest, it's excellent as it is.

    Best Regards

    Sounds good, it's got a good rhythm pulling it along.

    It would fit perfectly as an accompaniment to a scene in a film or TV programme and it sounds really well put together and well mixed and produced too.

    Is this earmarked for something in particular?

    Cheers,
    Terry.

    I like it a lot.  Nice choices on the synths.  Only one melody line with different arrangements.  However I also hear a sub melody line underneat.  I would also vote for a bridge.

    This song was made to be part of SoundTraxx Volume II (http://www.soundtraxxmusic.com/). My songs are always a bit repetitive sounding because most don't have "leads".  Most of my changes are in arrangements as Vicente pointed out...I've been making music for the library since 1990 and whenever I sit down to make a song I always say "I'll make a song for this type of scene..." and just never got into making very many lead tracks at all, mostly "textures".
