rapture gone silent

I have been using Rapture for some time now with barely any issues. Today however it has gone silent on me. I run it in Live 7, using OSX 10.5.1
Recently bought an new alu imac as my main computer and for the first week rapture worked.
I have come to turn run it in the last 24 hours and although it loads fine in Live 7, it simply wont make a sound. I can replace it aith any other instrument, say Vanguard for example, and that plays perfectly.
I cannot play it via midi, i cannot play it with the mac keys and i cannot play it via a sequence.
The same applies for the stand alone version - silent.

I can access the patches, and all the controls are responsive to midi.

Have trashed and reinstalled it twice, but still the same problem.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and a happy new year!

That's very bizarre because I am now having the same problem as of today using 10.5.1 also

I've had no problem getting sound out of it before on leopard - a few quirks with the browser and loading patches but it would play at least. Just loaded it up in live 7 and am getting no sound out of it. I even replaced it w/ a few other soft synths just to make sure am they worked fine. Came here to browse mssgs and saw yours.

I'm at a loss. I'm hoping the release an update soon for leopard so that it works correctly. As to why neither of can et any sound out of it today is beyond me.

    very strange indeed.
Can you also tell me if the options button in your rapture works?
    it does nothing on mine.
I was hoping i could find an answer there, but no.

As far as I know the options button has not worked since leopard.

The "no sound" only started yesterday to my notice. Up until then I was able to get sound out of. I loaded it up in garageband just to see if it was a live thing but got no sound out of it in garageband either.
