rapture problems

i own sonar platinum and music creator 7 . i'm a little overwhelmed a little by s platinum, so i decided to get to grips with mc 7 since it basically is the same(?) a problem arose when i put rapture pro on a track. it worked fine and i closed the project. the next day i opened it back up and the track would not play. i checked to make sure i did'nt solo a track or mute one. a couple of seconds later a window popped up saying that the plug in needed to be registered. i thought since i own s platinum, i could use the instruments in mc7. is this wrong? do i need to buy another copy of rapture for mc 7?

Rapture and Rapture Pro will both work in MC7. They are different synths though. Rapture is bundled with SONAR Platinum. Rapture Pro is a separate purchase. If you are getting registration errors, I suspect you are asking about Rapture Pro. I would suggest contacting tech support about the registration problem. Did you update to the latest version of Rapture Pro? Also make sure your Command Center is current.

There are samples missing from the 2.00.2.541 version of Rapture Pro.

They include the following (so far) from the Dimension Pro Factory Library:

    Db_155_*
    Db_160_*
    Db_165_*
    Db_170_*

    Totaling 41 missing samples.

Reporting them here may not help, after all the is the Music Creator area and RPro is not part of the MC distribution. It also has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.

I suppose these samples are referenced by programs in RPro. It might be more helpful to report the problem in a separate thread in Cakewalk Instruments or Problem Reports forum and directly to Cakewalk with an official problem report http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Contact/Problem-Report

I have DPro installed which may mask missing samples in the RPro installers. It definitely is helpful when noting missing samples to identify the programs which have load errors. When filing an official program report, consider including the RPro log.
