I demoed both & found that I actually preferred EaReverb over Redline.
I was kind of surprised - I thought that it would be the other way around.
By my math, [or maybe just where I live], - @ 129.00 Euros, it works out to $165.00ish.
I haven't bought either one yet, but I've signed up for EAReckon's news letter in hopes of a price break.
I thought both sounded excellent, but my decision for one over the other was the interface.
I found Redline's graphics a bit small and harder to read than EaReverbs, which is larger, and cleaner looking.
I also like the graph down in the lower right corner.
But they've just released a new product, so I'm guessing they'll be poundin' that one for a while.
But my all time favorite reverb though, is the one that came free with my tc electronic SK 48 Audio/MIDI interface.
It's called Fabrik R and it's absoultely drop dead georgeous!
I'm talkin' 'Peaches & Cream' beautiful!
I hadn't used my SK 48 for about 4 years now, and just got it out & set it all up again recently.
Just today, I found myself drooling over it yet again - even amongst these & other relatively new reverb comers.
Just simply the best reverb I've ever heard - hardware or soft.
So, unless EaReverb drops quite a bit, which I doubt it will, I may save my spondulicks and consider Zebra2 instead @ $149 with discount.
I've got quite a good selection of reverbs now anyways - Breverb [Full], IK CSR, ValhallaRoom, tc M30, 3 from SKnote, PSP EasyVerb & Piano Verb - and of course the 'ultra georgeous one' mentioned above - my old 'new
top cat'!
