i am having trouble with overloud th2. the cut version that loaded with  sonar x2&3 does not appear to work. i upgraded to the full version thinking the problem was something silly that i was missing but after loading up the upgrade i now have the cut version on sonar that still won't function but i do have the full version that works perfectly on my desk top. I contacted overloud and they emailed to say that i had to make sure i was selecting  sonar's preferred  folder which i had (c/program files/cakewalk/vstplugins)
I have tried all kinds of permutations but am now lost. I still think it is something silly that i am missing, could somebody please help.

    My first thought would be to check you have input monitoring selected in the track where you have TH2 loaded. Lots of areas to look at without more info. Are the meters moving in TH2? Are they moving in Sonar? How are you connecting your guitar? If it's working in stand alone mode then I'd start double checking your routing in Sonar too! Not just file locations. But hopefully it's just the click of one button.

    Thanks Matt, on the cut version in sonar i have tried input monitoring and still don't get a response, but what's really puzzling is not getting the full version coming up in sonar.

    Well I was hoping it would be somethin' easy. So maybe it does have more to do with file location since you are not seeing it inside Sonar. Just checking, have you re run a vst scan after the authorization? Selected the proper input for you audio device? Sorry not more help. Maybe someone else who has the full version will chime in with more.

    Hi Matt, I have sorted it. When th2 was loaded up with sonar x3 it it sat in the soft synths selection and when selected the track appeared with the th2 selected but would not operate. When i upgraded to the full version this this did'nt appear in the soft synth inserts so it threw me, but then i thought hang on! and i selected a track and then went into audio effects and guess what the full th2 version was sat there and works perfectly.
    Thank You for your help, i am new to these forums but think it will prove worthwhile.

    These guitar plug-ins are audio effects and should be in that section.
