recorded music doesnt sound the same??? sonar x2

when I play live vst instruments use battery fm8 ect for some reason the final mixdown don't sound exactly the same. Somehow I don't see the post I made the other day about this.
 
Someone had asked what via model number I had I got the vt1708s which I had been told is a decent chipset. If not im just gonna upgrade to m-audio audio controller or something like that.
 
I have a quadcore and 5g of mem
