Hi, Everytime I select a recording input for a certain channel and then push the record button on the track it changes to a different recording input. Everytime I push record on my controller I have to reset the recording input manually. How can I stop this?  Thanks. I use sonar le ver 4

    Some more info, please.
What are you recording, MIDI or audio, with what kind of soundcard and connections?
What kind of controller are you using? What have you set as the input and to what does it change when you press "record".

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Hi Kalle, I use tascam fw1884. It has 8 inputs. I route input on track1 to input 1, track 2 to input 2, etc. as soon as i push record on the track in sonar or tascam it changes the input to "stereo analog 1 and 2". Thanks

I've never used the Tascam, so I don't know it's channel names, software tricks etc.
First thing that popped in my mind was: Are the tracks mono? Automatic switching to "stereo analog" makes me think the (Tascams ??) software handles  inputs 1 and 2 as a stereo pair, and that should be changed somehow.

Hi Kalle thanks for helping. I had the vs20 patched in as a control surface also by accident and it was changing the inputs to stereo
