    Hmmm kinda vague...


    Initial response with the info given: 
     - Check your MIDI connections with your interface
     - Check your track to make sure it's assigned to your softsynth

    Unfortunately, it could be quite a few things.

    As Jeff rightly says - not enough information.

    What are you trying to record - soft synth or hardware?

    How have you got everything connected?

    Probably because you havn't read the instructions like every body else has to do at least once... And ya wrong forum.
