recording mode question...

Hi, just upgraded to 5, all the way from Sonar 2!

I have a quick question about triggering record...

Is it possible to have recording wait for an incoming MIDI note before starting?

Cheers
JK

    Greetings John,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your upgrade --- you're going to be thrilled.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but it is so easy to delete unwanted stuff, that it probably doesn't matter if you record too much at the start.

    Regards,
    David

    Hi John-
Is it possible to have recording wait for an incoming MIDI note before starting?

No, SONAR doesn't have a "Wait for MIDI Input" feature. You can sync it to an external MIDI clock, however, but I don't think that's what you're asking!

    And welcome!
